125,000 sunflowers in memory of Van Gogh
A labyrinth of 125,000 sunflowers has been set up at the Museumplein in Amsterdam to celebrate the opening of the Van Gogh Museum’s new entrance hall on September 4. Organizers decided on the number since Vincent van Gogh died 125 years ago this July.
According to Dutch News, the labyrinth was set to open to the public this weekend, and the sunflowers would be given away to visitors on Sunday afternoon local time.
